About

Club Tiny Tots is an innovative and play learning centre that caters for children 1 – 4 years of age. We focus on all areas of development:

  1. Gross Motor development eg: climbing etc.
  2. Fine Motor Development eg: painting etc.
  3. Cognitive Learning eg: puzzles
  4. Socio-dramatic play eg: home corner

The program is designed to interact with your child across a variety of experiences that are both fun and stimulating. Be assured that the program is well structured and there is an enormous amount of variety with a new and exciting program each week.

The program follows each of the four school terms and classes run for an hour each week.

Your child will be interacting with children of the same age, with classes in two age brackets - 1-2 year olds or 2-3 year olds.

The four major components of the Club Tiny Tots program are:

  1. Movement
  2. Art & Craft
  3. Music
  4. Play
  • MOVEMENT

This will help improve your child’s physical skills of balance, eye-hand and eye-foot co-ordination, agility, flexibility, muscle strength and tone, growth and overall health

It is only by using their whole bodies to their physical limits that children can learn to control and manage themselves. We believe that the more practise that you give your child the more agile, well co-ordinated and safe they will be.

  • ART & CRAFT

This will help your child to develop their fine motor skills and express themselves in a creative and individual way. It will also encourage independence and decision making skills.

This part of the program will help them experiment with colour, texture, shape.

Art and craft is a sensory experience where your child will be using clay, paint, paste, water, goop, slime, playdough, sand, water and rice. And of course art smocks are provided.

Better they experience all of this in our specially dedicated art room than at home. We make available craft recipes and ideas for you and your child to experience at home.

  • MUSIC

This component of the program is where you and your child join with the other group members. It includes song and dance, playing of instruments, puppet shows, dancing finger plays, games, bubble time, parachute and lots more.Your child’s early years are the best time to help them develop positive attitudes to music. One of the clubs favourite activities involves the puppet show with singing and dancing to our music. This visual experience encourages the children to imitate and participate with the fun and lively characters. Your child will be given the opportunity to experiment with sound through instruments and songs. Imitation, experiment and repetition are our main focuses of this early learning experience.

  • PLAY

This relates to various activities which either encourage you to work with your child or for your child to interact with others.
It could mean just sitting on the cushions reading a book, sorting boxes, building blocks, playing with trains or enjoying the range of the latest equipment designed to encourage your child to make choices and experiment. It’s during this period that their cognitive skills are put to work. Children learn through play and this is why it is essential to provide these opportunities. We have both outdoor and indoor play areas for your child to explore, learn and most importantly have fun!
